U.S. Conducts Airstrikes on ISIS with Nigerian Approval

President Trump announced the strikes on Christmas Day, a U.S. response to the killing of Christians by terrorists.

After President Donald Trump announced air strikes on ISIS terrorists in Nigeria on Christmas Day, the Nigerian government confirmed that President Bola Tinubu had approved the United States’ actions. The strikes were conducted by the U.S. in response to the persecution and execution of Christians by the Islamic extremists in northern Nigeria.

President Trump stated, “At my direction as commander-in-chief, the United States launched a powerful and deadly strike against ISIS terrorist scum in northwest Nigeria, who have been targeting and viciously killing, primarily, innocent Christians, at levels not seen for many years and even centuries!”

“I have previously warned these terrorists that if they did not stop the slaughtering of Christians, there would be hell to pay, and tonight, there was,” President Trump added. “Under my leadership, our Country will not allow Radical Islamic Terrorism to prosper.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump to receive God’s guidance as he serves as commander-in-chief of the U.S. military.
  • For the president to be discerning as he engages foreign officials regarding threats of terrorism from Islamic extremists.
  • For believers around the world who are facing persecution and death for their faith in Christ.
